Career
For over thirty years, Stephen Tomasko has made collages, mail art, drawings, paintings, and uncompromising photographs of American life and landscape. His work has been displayed in dozens of exhibitions and is held in collections worldwide. He serves as director of the Little Gallery at Bowling Green State University in Huron, Ohio, and as the chair of the selection committee for the AST artist residency in Akron, Ohio.

Stephen is the recipient of an Individual Excellence Award from the Ohio Arts Council. A monograph of his work, titled “Delira and Excira,” was published by the Shanti Arts Press. He holds a BA in Art History and Philosophy from Bowling Green State University and an MFA from the University of Delaware.
Prints
The prints are archival pigment on matte cotton paper. Presented in this way, they bring to my mind the work of Hokusai, the renowned woodblock artist from Japan’s Edo period.
